How it works?
Discover
We partner with credible animal shelters and rescuers in Bangalore and create a list of puppies, young dogs and senior dogs that they have available for adoption. All the dogs you see on our website were rescued by the animal shelters or rescuers and are now currently in their care. Each dog’s profile lists their basic details like name, age, sex, breed and Temperament as well as their story, medical history, socialization skills with other dogs, kids etc. Once you find a dog that interests you and matches you and your lifestyle, click on ‘Adopt Now’ and please fill our form.
Connect
Once you fill the form, we will call you to verify your details. We will then hand over your contact details to the respective animal shelter/rescuer. They will then connect with you within 3-5 working days, to understand you better and let you know if you are a match for the dog.
Confirm
If you and the dog are a compatible match, you will be invited to visit and spend time with the dog. The animal shelter/rescuer will then give you the go-ahead from their end, and if you are confident of your choice, we then move to the final stage of adopting your dog! Please note, each shelter/rescuer has their own adoption process.
Adopt
The animal shelter/rescuer will hand over the dog’s file which will contain the vaccination & medical details. You will need to submit your documents for proof of current address (where the dog will be staying), and any other documents that the animal shelter/rescuer may need from you. The shelter/rescuer may also come meet the dog through (scheduled) house visits to ensure you are both settling in well. We then hand over your dog to you!
Payment & Paperwork
We draw up a legal contract on a stamp paper of Rs.500 which has to be paid by you. We also encourage you to make a donation to the NGO/rescuer to support their crucial work of rescue & rehabilitation.
